An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join Murco Petroleum Limited's small team as a Terminal Operator at their Theale Oil Terminal near Reading in Berkshire. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, this position will assist with all external duties required to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a busy petroleum terminal. These duties include the daily discharge of trains and the control and operation of product storage tanks, pipelines, valves and associated pumps. The control of driver loading and compliance with all existing legislation and Company procedures for contractors and visitors to the terminal also forms an important aspect of this role.This physically demanding post requires an individual who is numerate with good communication skills. The candidate should ideally have a minimum 2 years petroleum, warehousing or similar experience.
