Deputy Services Manager - 23,500 p.a. plus 520 location allowance

Prospects, a Christian enabler, provides support for people with a learning disability at our Reading services. Responsible for the day-to-day management of a staff team, and reporting to the Services Manager, the Deputy Services Manager will be fully committed to our Christian beliefs, and will be responsible for delivering a distinctively Christian service to those we support. The high quality service you develop will help the people we support to make informed choices about their lifestyle, and will include praying with and for them and seeking to maximise their independence and dignity in all aspects of their daily life.
You will be expected to be a role model for staff in the way that you approach your duties, motivating them to deliver a first class service. Your duties will include the implementation of our Christian ethos, company policies, construction and review of enabling plans, positive risk taking assessments, arrangement of viable shift rotas, maintaining good team relations, staff management, and contact with parents, commissioning authorities and other regulatory bodies.
Reading services is undergoing a new build and refurbishment programme and the Deputy Services Manager will be expected to contribute to the completion of this work.
