The Berkshire Out of Hours (OOH) Nursing team is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join their fast paced OOH service in Wokingham and Reading. The team is constantly evaluating its methods of working and therefore we are looking for individuals who are adaptable and willing to embrace fast paced changes. Visiting in pairs, you will be working in a rewarding role that is at the forefront of preventing hospital admissions. The majority of patients you will treat are already known to the Nursing team and therefore you will be able to spend the majority of your time providing quality face-to-face care. You will be treating a wide range of healthcare needs from wound care and palliative care to administering insulin and eye drops. You will work as a team, but will be experienced and comfortable with taking the lead when required to do so. You will already be working in an acute or community setting but would like the opportunity to work additional shifts within the OOH team.
We currently have the following shifts available:
10 hours per week 4 x 2.5 hours shifts - 1 post
7.5 hours per week 3 x 2.5 hour shifts - 2 posts
