Part Time Communications & Engagement Officer

(20 hours per week)

Salary Range 25,617 - 28,006 (pro rata of 1st April 2014) + Essential Car User allowance

This new post within our Housing Services Department is being introduced to help us improve the way we engage with our tenants.

Reporting to the Housing Manager, your duties will include assisting in the delivery of the Association's Communications and Resident Involvement Strategies; helping us to ensure effective resident participation underpins all aspects of the Association's business.

Specifically, you will work with the Housing Manager to improve the ways we communicate with our customers, develop the Association's Resident Scrutiny Group and deliver the Fife wide Resident Involvement Strategy.

You will have a minimum of two years' customer facing housing management experience, current knowledge of housing legislation and will preferably hold or be working towards a relevant housing qualification.

The ability to plan and prioritise your workload, manage competing demands and work to tight deadlines is required.

You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure with our customers on both and individual basis and in a group environment.

Knowledge of the Scottish Social Housing Charter and a sound knowledge of I.T will also be required.
